Description
Like Castor Oil, Rice lotion has many uses, and has been used for generations as a natural supplement with other face treatments.
Skin Toner
You can also use rice lotion as a toner. If applied to the face after cleansing to minimize the appearance of pores and tighten skin. This natural skin toner promotes cell growth, stimulates blood flow, and helps keep your skin smooth and bright.
Acne Secondary Treatment
Rice lotion also helps heal acne and cools the redness of an outbreak. It acts as an astringent on the skin, tightening the pores. Best if used in conjunction with castor oil or aloe vera lotion after initial treatment. This is to help promote healing and skin elasticity after the oils and lotion have removed the acne, to prevent pock-marking.
Eczema
The starch components in rice lotion are effective in easing the effects of eczema on your skin. Apply to the affected areas of clean skin after it has been dried with a towel or and rubbing gingerly until it sinks in.
Irritated Skin
Apply rice lotion on rashes or other skin inflammation to soothe it naturally. Make sure not to increase inflammation by cleaning your skin gingerly and letting it air dry before applying the lotion, and doing so gingerly.
Sunburn Treatment
Its important to start the initial treatment of a sunburn with aloe vera lotion, but like acne, using rice lotion as a secondary treatment will help further prevent damage to the skin.
